New Parents

Approximately 7,000 women are prescribed bed rest each year, and most prefer to do so in the comfort of their own homes. However, it often becomes impossible for a spouse or family member to shoulder all the responsibility of caring for the expectant mother, and these women generally find that caregivers provide a necessary independence from loved ones.

Caregivers are also available to assist both new parents in the transition period immediately following delivery. Household management and care for the new mother's physical needs must all be taken care of so that the parents can focus their attention on the child.

Our caregivers assist mothers on bed rest with everything from hygiene to bathing to grocery shopping. We help new parents with cooking, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, transportation, and any extra assistance a new mother may need while recovering from labor.
